Fieldbase Services Limited is a fast-growing African technology company delivering managed connectivity, infrastructure, and digital solutions across enterprise, maritime, and government sectors. As a licensed Starlink Enterprise Reseller, we provide high-performance satellite and hybrid connectivity to telcos, banks, ISPs, oil & gas operators, and unserved communities across Nigeria and emerging African markets.

As we scale operations into Ghana, we’re seeking a Business Development Manager to help lead the charge in identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities in the enterprise and ISP space. This is a strategic role with high visibility and room for growth into country leadership.

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager – Enterprise Connectivity will be responsible for growing Fieldbase’s customer base in Ghana, focusing on enterprise clients (e.g., telcos, banks, oil & gas, logistics, manufacturing, government, ISPs). You will identify new opportunities, write compelling proposals, work with technical teams to design fit-for-purpose solutions, and lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure and post-sale engagement.


This is a self-starter role requiring initiative, problem-solving, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across borders. You will lay the foundation for our Ghana business and are expected to grow into a leadership role as the team expands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Opportunity Development
  • Identify and qualify business opportunities in target sectors.
  • Build relationships with enterprise buyers, local ISPs, and government stakeholders.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive positioning.

Sales & Commercial Execution

  • Develop and deliver high-quality proposals and commercial offers.
  • Manage pipeline, track deals, and report activities using CRM tools.
  • Work collaboratively with Fieldbase’s technical and operations teams to design and price solutions.


Market Expansion

  • Represent Fieldbase in key industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings.
  • Lead strategic partnerships, reseller onboarding, or channel development initiatives.
  • Conduct local market intelligence and recommend new product or service lines.



Reporting & Documentation

  • Produce concise weekly and monthly activity reports.
  • Monitor deal performance, customer feedback, and churn risk.
  • Document key lessons and recommendations to improve go-to-market strategy.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, ICT, Business, or related field
  • 4+ years in a commercial/business development role within connectivity, ISP, telecom, or tech sectors
  • Strong understanding of broadband, satellite, or network infrastructure services
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear, persuasive commercial proposals
  • Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Zoho CRM, Salesforce, HubSpot)


Desirable (But Not Mandatory)

  • Technical background (e.g., engineering degree, network fundamentals)
  • Prior experience working with or selling to ISPs or enterprise customers
  • Familiarity with satellite connectivity, fibre backhaul, LTE/GSM, or VSAT systems
