On behalf of our client, we now invite applications from experienced professionals to fill these vacancies: Deputy Manager Corporate Affairs and External Relations Role summary Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs and External Relations, the Deputy Manager Corporate Affairs and External Relations would be responsible for supporting the Manager in designing and executing the organisation’s communications, stakeholder engagement, and corporate social responsibility strategies.

 The role ensures effective brand positioning, positive stakeholder relations, media management, and alignment of external relations initiatives with the organisation’s mandate. Job responsibilities Prioritised responsibilities of the Deputy Manager Corporate Affairs and External Relations include the following: • Support the Manager in developing and implementing the Corporate Affairs & External Relations strategy of the organisation.

 â€˘ Support in building and sustaining strong relationships with government institutions, mining companies, investors, development partners, civil society, and the public. • Supervise the development of the organisation’s brand identity, promotional campaigns, and corporate publications.

 â€˘ Ensure compliance with communication protocols, government directives, and public sector standards. • Coordinate stakeholder forums, roadshows, and engagement programmes to communicate the organisation’s mandate and achievements.

 â€˘ Manage preparation of press releases, speeches, presentations, and other communication materials. Education, professional qualifications and experience required • Minimum of 7 years’ post-qualification relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/management role in corporate communications, stakeholder management, public affairs, or related function. • Master’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, International Relations, Social Sciences, or related f ield.

 â€˘ Professional certification in Public Relations/Communications (e.g., IPR, CIPR, APR) is an added advantage. • Experience in the financial sector, extractives industry, government agency, or international organisation will be an advantage. Assistant Manager, Information Technology Role summary Reporting to the Deputy Head of Information Technology, the Assistant Manager, Information Technology would be responsible for providing support in the effective planning, execution, and monitoring of the organisation’s IT operations, infrastructure, and cybersecurity activities, while leading implementation of core systems and managing a team of technical officers. Job responsibilities Prioritised responsibilities of the Assistant Manager, Information Technology include the following

 â€˘ Monitor IT expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness • Support system administration, network management, and infrastructure deployment. 

• Ensure deployment and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems.

 â€˘ Manage relationships with IT vendors, negotiate contracts, and evaluate third-party technology solutions.

 â€˘ Monitor threats, conduct regular risk assessments, and respond to incidents effectively. Education, professional qualifications and experience required • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. 

• A Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

 â€˘ Relevant certifications such as PMP, CISM, CISSP, ITIL, or COBIT are an advantage.

 â€˘ In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, advanced systems integration and architecture. 

Experience in the financial sector, extractives industry, government agency, or international organisation will be an advantage.
