GreenGoal Hub is a Rwanda-based enterprise committed to advancing land restoration and climate resilience through the production and distribution of high-quality tree, fruit, and agroforestry seedlings. We work with thousands of smallholder farmers and restoration partners to promote biodiversity, improve rural livelihoods, and enhance environmental services.
As we prepare to scale operations and welcome external investment, we are seeking a full-time Finance Manager to lead the development and execution of our finance function.

Role Overview
Are you passionate about sustainability, financial excellence, and impact-driven work? GreenGoal Hub is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Finance Manager to join our growing team and play a key role in shaping the financial future of our community-led organization. 

The Finance Manager will oversee all financial operations of GreenGoal Hub. This includes establishing strong internal controls, managing day-to-day accounting, preparing investor-grade financial reports, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving financial systems, informing strategic decisions, and supporting the organization’s readiness for growth.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Strategy & Planning

• Support the CEO in financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting
• Provide financial insights for business strategy and investment readiness

2. Accounting & Reporting

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounts using QuickBooks
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Lead preparation of audited financial statements and due diligence documents

3. Costing & Unit Economics

• Analyze and refine costing structures for seedling production
• Support pricing and profitability analysis across product lines

4. Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with Rwandan tax and regulatory requirements
• Lead statutory filings, payroll, and social security contributions
• Develop and enforce financial policies and internal controls

5. Inventory & Procurement Oversight

• Implement financial oversight for inventory and procurement processes
• Collaboration with operational teams on cost efficiency

6. Investor & Stakeholder Support

• Prepare investment documentation and reports for external stakeholders
• Support grant reporting and donor finance requirements, where applicable

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or ACCA is an advantage)
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in financial management
• Experience with QuickBooks and Excel-based financial modeling
• Strong understanding of SME finance, donor reporting, and compliance in Rwanda
• Experience working in agribusiness or environmental sectors is an advantage
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a growing enterprise

Compensation
A competitive salary commensurate with experience will be offered, along with performance-based growth opportunities within the organization.
