IT/OT Infrastructure Superintendent

Position Summary:

The IT/OT Infrastructure Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of integrated IT and OT systems across the organization. This role ensures secure, reliable, and efficient infrastructure to support both enterprise operations and industrial control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

 Strategic Oversight:

• Develop and execute infrastructure strategies that align IT and OT systems with business goals
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate IT and OT environments securely and efficiently
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement robust protection for critical systems

 Infrastructure Management:

• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and industrial control systems
• Manage data centers, cloud services, and edge computing platforms
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning for both IT and OT systems

 Security & Compliance:

• Implement cybersecurity protocols for SCADA, PLCs, and other OT assets
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443, ISO 27001)
• Monitor and respond to infrastructure-related incidents and vulnerabilities

 Team Leadership & Collaboration:

• Supervise infrastructure engineers and technicians across IT and OT domains
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, and IT departments to support plant and enterprise needs
• Provide training and guidance on infrastructure best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years in OT environments
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems (SCADA, DCS, PLCs)
• Experience with virtualization, cloud platforms, and network architecture
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC, etc.)
