Key Areas of Responsibility & Duties
- Supervise daily mine production activities, including drilling, blasting, loading, hauling, and support services.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Assign and direct tasks to mining crews and equipment operators to meet production schedules.
- Monitor work areas to identify and resolve operational or safety issues proactively.
- Maintain accurate shift reports, equipment utilization logs, and production records.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings, field inspections, and toolbox talks to ensure safety and production priorities are communicated.
- Support training and development of team members, ensuring competence in their assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and technical services teams to align operational activities with mine plans.
- Lead and participate in incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions.
- Promote a positive and productive team culture focused on safety, performance, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications/Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mine or Geology Engineering, or a technical diploma in Mine or Geology Engineering + relative years of work experience.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of mining experience with 2–3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Solid knowledge of mining operations, including equipment, processes, and best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret mine plans, schedules, and technical documents.
- Basic computer skills.

- Work Schedule – 14 days on 7 days Off
