Procurement and Logistics Officer

Job Summary:
Rockway Oilfields Services seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement and Logistics Officer to manage the end-to-end procurement process and oversee logistics operations. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the timely acquisition o goods and services while optimizing logistics to support operational excellence in the oil an gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Duties

 • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned
with company objectives.
* Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.

* Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and supply chain developments.

Logistics Duties
* Plan, coordinate, and oversee the transportation and delivery of materials and equipment to project sites.
* Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and maintain operational continuity.
* Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Ensure all shipping, customs, and import/export regulations are met.
* Manage and maintain relationships with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and transport companies.
* Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to shipping, transportation, or logistics.

Qualifications and Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years in procurement and/or logistics, preferably within the oil and gas industry.

* Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in procurement and logistics software and tools.
Strong understanding of supply chain principles and logistics management.

* Soft Skills:
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills. • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Knowledge:

 Familiarity with oil and gas industry procurement and logistics requirements will be an advantage.
