Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing, purchasing, and inventory of goods and services. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards and vendor relationships. This role is critical to optimizing supply chain efficiency and supporting organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives
- Source suppliers and negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory
- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and manage budgets
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 3 years Experience with logistics knowledge
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of contract law and procurement regulations
- Certification (e.g., CIPS, PMP, CSCP) is an advantage
