Job Title: Sales Executive
Location: Tamale, Ghana
Reports to: Sales Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Executive to join our team in Tamale. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills and at least 2 years of proven sales experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Present, promote, and sell products/services to customers using solid sales techniques.
- Meet or exceed agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to management.
- Ensure excellent customer service and after-sales support.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and other networking events when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven.
- Good knowledge of the Tamale market and ability to travel within the region.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English (knowledge of local languages is an added advantage).
