Senior Manager Washing

Key Responsibilities

• Washing Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of garment washing, including pre-treatment, dyeing, and finishing processes, to ensure adherence to quality standards and production timelines.
• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and supervise a team of washing operators and technicians, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure that washed garments meet the required specifications and standards.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in washing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
• Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of washing chemicals, detergents, and other consumables, ensuring timely procurement and proper storage.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure that all washing operations comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on washing department performance, including production metrics, quality issues, and resource utilization.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 5–7 years of experience in garment washing operations, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of washing techniques, chemical formulations, and textile materials.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
