Job Description – MSC Cruises (Mediterranean Shipping Company)
MSC Cruises is seeking candidates for multiple positions across their Hotel, Deck, and Engine departments to join their international cruise operations. This is a chance to work on-board cruise ships, providing services to guests while traveling globally.
Departments & Responsibilities
1. Hotel Department
- Bar, Boutiques, Casino, Culinary, Dining Service, Entertainment, Excursions, Guest Service, Hotel Management, Housekeeping, IT & High Technology, Laundry, Photography, Security, Spa & Recreation, Yacht Club
- Responsibilities include: customer service, guest management, food preparation and service, retail operations, entertainment coordination, IT support, maintenance of hotel facilities, and general housekeeping.
2. Deck Department
- Deck Officer, Deck Rating, HR & Accounting, Medical Service
- Responsibilities include: navigation support, ship maintenance, administrative support, and healthcare services on board.
3. Engine Department
- Engine Officer, Engine Rating
- Responsibilities include: maintenance and operation of ship machinery, monitoring engines and technical systems, ensuring safety and compliance with maritime standards.
Requirements
- Relevant experience for the applied department.
- Flexibility to work at sea for extended periods.
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
- For certain technical positions (Deck & Engine), maritime certifications may be required.
