Job Description

Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership

  • Training Program Development
    • Design and develop training programs that align with organizational goals and employee development needs.
    • Create engaging and effective training materials, including presentations, manuals, and e-learning modules.
  • Needs Assessment
    • Conduct regular assessments to identify training needs across the organization.
    • Collaborate with department heads to understand specific training requirements and objectives.
  • Implementation and Delivery
    • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at all levels.
    • Co-ordinate with external trainers and vendors as needed to deliver specialized training.
  • Evaluation and Improvement
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
    • Continuously improve training content and delivery methods based on evaluation results and emerging trends.
  • Employee Development
    • Provide coaching and support to employees to help them achieve their career development goals.
    • Develop and manage mentorship programs to foster professional growth.
  • Compliance and Reporting
    • Ensure all training programs comply with relevant regulations and standards.
    • Maintain accurate records of training activities and report on training outcomes to senior management.

    • Ability to develop and implement strategies that enhance employee engagement, retention, and performance.

  • Managing Change
    • Expertise in managing change within the organization, including ability to develop and deliver training programs that support initiatives.
    • Ability to help employees adapt to new processes, technologies, and organizational changes.
  • Instructional Design
    • Ability to create effective and engaging training materials and programs.
    • Proficiency in developing e-learning modules and using learning management systems (LMS).
       
  • Coaching and Mentoring
    • Ability to provide coaching and support to employees for their professional development.
    • Experience in developing and managing mentorship programs.

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications

  • A first degree or its equivalent.
  • Masters in HR and or HR professional certification is an advantage.
  • 10 years working experience of which 4 must be in a similar role.
  • Experience of working in cross functional teams.
  • Experience working with a multi-national organization.
  • Excellent influencing & negotiation skills.
  • Ability to respond quickly to changing priorities and business requirements and to accommodate these within longer term plans and strategies.
  • Analytical thinker.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, influencing skills and stakeholder management.
  • Customer-focused.
