  • For Loan Officers: source, promote, and process micro-finance and SME credit products; assess borrower creditworthiness; prepare documentation; monitor loan utilisation; ensure timely repayments.
  • For Credit Risk Officers / Risk Managers: identify, measure and monitor credit risk, enterprise risk, liquidity/market risk; establish/review risk policies; ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • For Operations / IT roles: administer core banking systems, network/database infrastructure, ensure operational continuity, support roll-out of new banking solutions.
  • Achieve business targets (e.g., loan disbursements, deposit mobilisation, branch profit growth) and maintain high service quality standards.
  • Provide guidance, training and supervision to junior staff and ensure a motivated team environment.
  • Ensure adherence to bank policies, regulatory guidelines (e.g., AML/CFT, Shariah compliance if applicable) and accurate documentation.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships, promote financial inclusion in underserved markets (rural/urban), and contribute to the bank’s mission of serving the un-banked and under-banked.

Why this is a good role / Bank Vibes

  • NRSP Microfinance Bank is one of the recognised players in Pakistan’s micro-finance sector, with a mission of supporting financially-excluded populations.
  • Working here offers exposure to both financial services and impact-oriented work (micro-credit, rural clients, inclusion).
  • The variety of roles shows the bank is scaling: operations, risk, IT, branch growth — meaning career-opportunities across different domains.
  • You’ll be part of a banking environment that combines commercial banking skills with social impact (serving under-banked segments) — a chance to build both professional and purpose-driven experience.

Tips if you’re applying

  • Highlight any experience you have in microfinance/branch banking or with underserved markets.
  • Emphasise your analytical skills (for credit/risk roles) or operational/IT strengths (for operations roles).
  • Mention your ability to work across regions/branches and adapt to many customers.
  • Show alignment with financial inclusion, – e.g., ways you have worked in customer service or outreach.
  • Prepare to discuss how you handle documentation, risk assessment, customer relationship, or in IT roles how you manage systems/infrastructure.
