Shift Timings:
1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Identify safety hazards, suggest corrective actions, and follow company safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Assemble units using various tools (hand, power, electric, air-powered drills, wrenches, grinders, nail/staple gun, paint gun, overhead crane, pallet jack, etc.).
- Perform hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical installations, grinding, and touch-up painting.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems and verify parts against blueprints.
- Test, package, crate, and prepare finished goods for shipment or proper location storage.
- If certified, operate a forklift to load/unload trucks and organize materials.
- Maintain 5S standards and perform related duties to support quality and productivity goals.
- Complete inventory paperwork and computer transactions as needed.
- Adhere to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) metrics.
- Mobility to move within the department/plant as required.
Knowledge/Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Requires advance knowledge of hydraulic and electric systems; highly skilled in the use of all hand tools, electric, and air power along with some skills in wire feed welder and plasma.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to interpret blueprints and measuring devices. Some knowledge in gas and diesel engines.
