Shift Timings: 1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
Identify safety hazards, suggest corrective actions, and follow company safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Assemble units using various tools (hand, power, electric, air-powered drills, wrenches, grinders, nail/staple gun, paint gun, overhead crane, pallet jack, etc.).
Perform hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical installations, grinding, and touch-up painting.
Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems and verify parts against blueprints.
Test, package, crate, and prepare finished goods for shipment or proper location storage.
If certified, operate a forklift to load/unload trucks and organize materials.
Maintain 5S standards and perform related duties to support quality and productivity goals.
Complete inventory paperwork and computer transactions as needed.
Adhere to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) metrics.
Mobility to move within the department/plant as required.
Knowledge/Education:
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Requires advance knowledge of hydraulic and electric systems; highly skilled in the use of all hand tools, electric, and air power along with some skills in wire feed welder and plasma.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to interpret blueprints and measuring devices. Some knowledge in gas and diesel engines.
