Your Key Responsibilities:

You will take ownership of the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet for the PSD in West Africa, ensuring operational excellence. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Driving exceptional Customer Relationship Management and customer satisfaction.
  • Managing the financial performance (P&L and Balance Sheet) of PSD operations in the region.
  • Developing and implementing strategic business plans, revenue forecasts, budgets, and organizational structures aligned with our current and future capital equipment fleet.
  • Spearheading the development of our future regional workshop infrastructure.
  • Leading and empowering local and regional teams within a matrix structure, cultivating a collaborative and high-performing environment through inclusive recruitment and continuous development, with a focus on enhancing gender diversity and employment equity.
  • Guiding the technical training and development of the PSD team to ensure outstanding service delivery.
  • Championing succession planning to secure Epiroc's future leadership.
  • Ensuring every team member contributes positively to company objectives and identifying opportunities for team improvement.
  • Maintaining the highest safety standards across all Epiroc facilities.
  • Optimizing the performance of service agreements through effective team management.
  • Collaborating closely with Capital Equipment Regional BLMs to promote Epiroc's comprehensive solutions.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and implementing a robust customer governance structure.
  • Contributing actively to Epiroc Group's customer-centric vision and culture.
  • Ensuring a safe and healthy working environment across all areas of responsibility.
  • Upholding "The Epiroc Way" and our "Code of Conduct," with a strong commitment to Inclusion and Diversity at all levels.
  • This role involves frequent domestic, regional, and occasional international travel.

 

What You Bring:

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of progressive management experience leading teams and achieving demonstrable results.
  • In-depth product and application knowledge within the surface and underground mining sectors.
  • A results-oriented approach with a strong professional network and a proven track record in marketing and sales.
  • A solid understanding of Epiroc's values and business operations.
  • Strategic and operational business management expertise.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, people management, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent command of English; proficiency in French is a significant advantage.
