Manager, Vehicle Operations
Position Summary:
The Manager, Vehicle Operations oversees the full lifecycle of the company's fleet — from acquisition and registration to maintenance and performance optimization. This role is critical in ensuring high vehicle uptime, compliance, and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities:
● Manage all fleet processes: procurement, licensing, insurance, and deployment.
● Enforce operational standards for bike usage, safety, and servicing.
● Lead mechanics and support staff to ensure vehicle availability.
● Track fleet metrics (utilization, breakdown rate, service compliance).
● Oversee installation of GPS, branding, and security systems.
● Maintain vendor relationships for repairs and servicing.
● Coordinate with rider support and recovery teams on escalations.
● Recommend strategies for vehicle performance and cost improvement.
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Operations, or Logistics.
● 3–5 years experience in vehicle or fleet operations management.
● Excellent leadership and vendor management skills.
● Familiarity with vehicle tracking and fleet software.
● Knowledge of compliance and safety regulations.
