We are looking for a proactive and skilled Commercial Manager to lead our sales and marketing strategy in Ghana. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Managing Director to drive revenue growth, strengthen customer relationships, and align local initiatives with global standards. Key Responsibilities

  •  Develop and execute the national commercial strategy to expand market share and revenue.
  •  Lead pricing, contract negotiations, and strategic account management.
  •  Build strong relationships with BCOs (Beneficial Cargo Owners), NVOCCs (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers), freight forwarders, and partners.
  •  Champion customer experience, service reliability, and issue resolution.
  •  Provide market intelligence and competitor insights to guide decisions.
  •  Coach and develop a high-performing sales team with clear KPIs.
  •  Drive adoption of digital tools, CRM systems, and online booking platforms.
  •  Ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and compliance with regulations.
  •  Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Customer Service to deliver end-to-end satisfaction.


Must Have

  •  Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales/Marketing, Logistics, or related field; MBA preferred with professional qualification.
  •  5–10 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  •  Strong knowledge of liner shipping, container trade, and international trade practices.
  •  Proven track record in contract negotiation, pricing, and account management.
  •  Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
